SCCAOR Expo
We had a great time at the SCCAOR expo, meeting lots of new people that were all interested in the videos we had to offer. Although we prepared last minute for the show, we ended up setting up an effective booth that let the attending Realtors view our videos on two different screens, while I answered questions about the service.
Before the show, while waiting around for the doors to open, I happened to snap a few shots with my iPhone (booth shown above). I tried using the WordPress app for the first time to show off the booth, but alas, could not get it to work correctly. Thus, the post was lost into the space continuum of the Internet somewhere!
I also had fun meeting some of the other exhibitors, there was a lot of variety in the types of businesses at the show. It was especially funny to watch everyone tear down their booths, most of which had these giant balloon decorations. You knew the end of the show was near when you heard the “pop” “pop” “pop” “pop” of balloons being destroyed since they could not make it out of the doors of the convention center. I did manage to confiscate a few for my kids, who were quite pleased!
If you did attend the show and saw our booth, let us know in the comments if you saw us and how we can do better. Future plans for a booth include a large flat panel TV, free ice cream sandwiches, and lots of booth babes (vice-president Nicki, aka my wife, will have to approve that one)!
