Rehashing Interesting Stuff

I’m not a HUGE blog reader, but I do read about 2-300 posts a day, using my trusty RSS reader, Vienna (highly recommended AND free)!

Anyway, I get to read a lot of interesting stuff from day to day about the real estate industry, and specifically, about video’s impact on the real estate industry. This comes from blogs that I recommend, such as FOREM (Future of Real Estate Marketing), Sellsius, Realty Thoughts, and even Photography For Real Estate. You wouldn’t think that I would mention the photography one, but Larry Lohrman has a lot of great things to say about video, and marketing your house in general, not to mention some great tips on taking stills and HDR photography.

FOREM is another interesting blog to point out since Joel Burslem now works for Inman News, which is related to Inman Stories, sort of a competitor of ours. We don’t mind the competition, anything to spread the word about video and it’s importance to marketing home listings, while it is still in it’s infancy. Not to mention that Joel is spot on with so many of his great postings.

Why all of my jibber-jabbing about reading blogs? I find a lot of these posts interesting and have saved so many in my RSS reader over the past 2-3 years. In the coming weeks, I’d like to point out some of these posts and talk about them a little to see if they are still relevant, or if they have come true, or even just to comment on my stance on the posts.

I really enjoyed these postings and wanted others in the industry to check out these other great blogs out there for themselves!
